the GOOD+HEC curriculum
Our mission at GOOD+HEC is to inspire corporate citizens, professionals and sports teams to seek their personal best by integrating mindfulness into their daily lives so they can lead a happier, more balanced and kind lifestyle.
By integrating the core attitudinals of mindfulness into one's day: whether at work, at home, in relationships, in sport or within the broader community, the benefits are many.
There is an abundance of research and science to support how our brains actually change through mindfulness practices to help us be more resilient to stressful situations, to find greater clarity and self motivation at work and to achieve a greater sense of awareness of our thoughts, our emotions and our physical sensations in relation to life's stresses.
Along with other well known mindfulness mentors, our workshops and programs are primarily based upon the research, methodology and principles designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the proven Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-week program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Using brain sensing technology developed by our partner, Muse, as well as the core concepts of MBSR and other traditional mindfulness techniques, the end goal of our workshops and programs is to establish a foundation, a cadence and a framework of practice for our clients to implement post-engagement with our consultants.
